Responsibilities
Prepares, documents maintains and distributes all financial reporting data as required based on established schedules. Prepares journal entries, account reconciliation as well as purchased inventory analysis and variance reporting. This will include working with CUSA Accounting and utilizing SAP reports to become more efficient (eventually Oracle).
Prepares and reviews the Original Budget, Operating Budget, Review Budgets, Midterm Plan, Closing Forecasts and Bi-Monthly sales Forecasts and the related presentations to Senior Management.
Maintains standard costs on ERP system to ensure proper accounting for movement of equipment, parts and supplies.
Performs the monthly and year end closings.
Performs account reconciliations, analysis, clean up and control cash clearing accounts on prepaid inventory.
Works with subsidiaries and CUSA departments on special projects or issues that arise and assist with the implementation of new accounting guidelines.
Works with Finance Leadership to identify process improvement opportunities to streamline current close processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
CPA or MBA preferred
At least 5 6 years of related work experience is required
Detail-oriented with intermediate knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting practices
