Customer Service Representative 4-40 License
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for dealing with incoming calls helping prospects in regards to quoting, discussing and closing the sale for multiple insurance products, customer service care, helping existing customer with insurance policy maintenance, process policy renewal information, quoting, taking payments, helping to maintain and update customers records with an agency management system, cross sell other products to new and existing customers, late notices follow up, make service calls related to policy changes, contact insurance carriers to resolve issues or answer policy related inquiries
Salary plus commission pay scale:
PAY: $12 - $15.00/HR
SHIFT: 8:30AM - 5PM: Mon - Fri
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Computer literate.
Proficiency to multi-task, follow thru and follow-up
440 or 220 State License Highly and Strongly Preferred.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Some college preferred, 4 year degree desired.
Proved track record of reliability
Clean professional appearance
Experience with general public
Competitive spirit
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to new processes and training
Prepare insurance quotes, follow up and sell insurance policies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft office and internet applications.
Good phone skills
Confident, self-starter who works well independently.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
