Business Development Representative

Reports to: Director of Inside Sales
Location: Boca Raton, FL

We have Sales positions available in our Boca Raton office and are looking for STAR players. Our customers move fast, our business model and products evolve to support our customers, and we believe our sales model is dynamic and ever changing - it moves fast too.
Purpose of Position and Business Impact:
o Build new business opportunities to grow revenue and clients
o Outbound calling to defined leads and territory (cold calling)
o Drive sales activity to achieve monthly sales targets
Essential Functions -
Responsibilities:
o Outbound sales lead activity targeting new clients
o Qualify new business opportunities and set up web meetings for review of Cortera Pulse solution
o Leverage client referrals, associations and networking
o Update and Manage SalesForce.Com CRM for territory
Qualifications:
o A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
o B2B cold calling experience
o Requires strong sales experience and phone skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o An ability to respond with a sense of urgency in a sales driven culture
o Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
o Strong computer skills - (MS Office, Outlook, SalesForce.com)
o Ideally 3-5 years of experience in high activity business to business sales environments
o B2B, SaaS, Webex, and virtual sales experience
o Evidence that you are a top performer (sales results, awards, etc.)
o Enthusiasm for selling technology, services, and/or business information to executive sales, marketing and finance professionals.
o High energy, passion, and a strong work ethic
Compensation:
We offer a competitive base salary and rewarding performance based commission plan that pays at target $60-$70K++
(uncapped- we expect you to blow this away) plus our benefits (health, vision, dental, 401k).
Highlights:
o Competitive base salary ($35K) plus commission: on-target earnings of $60K+
o Medical/Dental/Vision/401K Plan/Paid Vacation (eligible after 60 days of employment)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
