OTHER:
TheSr. Manager, Facilitiesoversees facility maintenance operations for all retail stores and supply chain facilities. Fiscal responsibility for budgets, projects, PMO schedules and activities associated with the maintenance of the buildings, grounds and inter-structure. Responsible for all vendor relationships who impact operational aspects of the stores, maintaining company assets and develop policies and procedures for compliance. Member of the corporate Emergency Crisis Committee.
Responsibilities:
Ensures that all activities related to maintenance remain on schedule, and work performed is consistent with the industry standards.
Ensures that SOPs and documentation are in place and up to date and in compliance with Office Depot values.
Reviews and approves estimates and invoicing related to facility maintenance.
Utilize engineering disciplines to develp cost effective solutions with value added benefits to solve departmental requirements. Encourages an enviornment conducive to creativity.
Negotiates with vendors the scope and appropriate levels of service and materials required to maintain cost effective contracts. Periodically reviews existing contracts for their effectiveness and also determines if additional value added concessions can be obtained. Negotiate all preventative maintenance contracts with applicable vendors.
Supervise contractors servicing our stores and supply chain facilities ensuring exceptional service.
Supervise eight full time employees. Manage two managers, five analysts and one coordinator.
Approve all work orders, initiate work requests for vendors and approve all invoices in Big Sky and TDM payment systems.
Manages the following trades: Major Repairs, Dark Stores, Auto/Roll/Manual Doors, Dock Levelers/Shelders, Bailers/Compactors, Elevators/Escalators, Plumbing, Painting, General Repairs, External & Internal Lighting, Electrical, Fire Sprinklers/Extinguishers, Backflow, Janitorial, Carpet/Flooring, Mat/Mop, Pest Control, HVAC, EMS Systems, Generators, Forklifts, Roofing, Waste, CAM, Snow Removal, Parking Lots, & Rolling InventoryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
