Boca Raton based Home Health Agency is seeking a Scheduler.
Our Scheduling Expert is responsible for the daily staffing of our Caregivers, ensuring all aspects of client care is met, every day on every shift.
This includes scheduling of personal care for patients, communicating schedule as needed to those that need it, and provide other administrative support to the patient care team to provide quality patient care.
The Scheduler will be required to be onsite in the office 5 days a week under a defined schedule and will also be required to be on call two weekends a month with the office cell phone.
Responsibilities Complete monthly and daily staffing schedule for the nursing department.
Provide coordination/management of personal assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
(ADL's) Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment.
Responsible for coordinating all nursing and CNA schedules for each calendar month and finding call-in replacements to meet corporate, state, and federal staffing guidelines.
Provide daily and weekly reporting reflecting both nursing and CNA hours worked.
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
Follow on call schedule and cover shifts when necessary.
Qualification:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize and direct staffing.
Data entry and medical terminology knowledge, Prior Knowledge of Matrix Care is a plus! Prior experience in an office or administrative setting where multitasking and staying organized at a fast pace.
Previous experience as a scheduler for a Home Health Agency and knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to AHCA! The wage is dependent upon previous experience, highly qualified candidates will be compensated for their previous experience in scheduling.
