Summary:
Assists and supports the Club Services department with both marketing and membership responsibilities.
Works with the Sales and Marketing Director to expand new membership for the club.
Creates and maintains accurate membership records both in electronic and manual files.
Works as a liaison between the front of the house and operations staff to create consistency and promote a cohesive, enhanced member experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; Assists the Director of Sales and Marketing with property tours for prospective buyers and renters.
Conducts membership surveys and reports on results.
Assists with new member/renter orientations, as needed.
Assists with processing home closing and new member paperwork, as needed.
Assists in developing internal and external marketing strategies.
Promptly responds and effectively addresses phone calls from prospective real estate agents and buyers.
Receives and coordinates incoming inquiries from the public regarding purchasing property and membership.
Processes all new renter paperwork to include all pertinent information to complete the file.
Performs duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing including administrative tasks.
Addresses questions and/or concerns from existing membership.
Maintains accurate member records.
Assists with recording, maintaining, updating, and distributing inquiries tracking reports.
Assists with marketing projects including collateral development, social media, photography, and advertising as needed.
Assists with special projects and attends functions as needed.
Ensures that new member and renter informational packets are produced and are readily available at all times.
Acts as a liaison to the Community Relations Committee.
Prepares, updates, and generates periodic reports as necessary.
Must acquire an advanced working knowledge of membership functions.
Communicates courteously and professionally with members, co-workers, management, and the general public.
Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of The Polo Club.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Requires the ability to work independently.
Must be skilled at detailed and accurate data entry.
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
Must be an impeccable verbal communicator and first impressions ambassador.
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers, and members.
Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Education and/or
Experience:
Associate Degree (A.

) from an accredited college or university; or two years of related experience or any equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Previous club or hospitality experience is preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel; Outlook, experience with the Northstar platform is a plus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
