IT Audit Manager Pay:

Summary:
As an IT Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in our clients' Risk and Advisory Team, providing leadership and guidance in managing IT audit activities.
You will be responsible for developing and executing annual IT audit plans, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, evaluating internal controls, and overseeing the audit process.
Additionally, you will provide consultative services to clients seeking third-party assessments of their IT environment.
This position requires strong managerial skills, technical expertise in IT audit, and the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
Key
Responsibilities:
IT Audit Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive IT audit plans, including scoping, risk assessment, and audit methodologies.
Execute audits, document process flows, assess the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls, and identify control weaknesses and non-compliance issues.
Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance:
Ensure that IT processes and controls comply with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation.
Review system backup, disaster recovery, and maintenance procedures.
Design and implement new and enhanced controls to address identified deficiencies.
Risk Assessment and Management:
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, identifying risks and vulnerabilities that may impact the organization's operations.
Develop strategies to mitigate risks and improve control environments.
Audit Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive and concise audit reports for senior management, clearly communicating control issues, business impacts, and management action plans.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure findings are understood and addressed appropriately.
Team Management:
Supervise and review the work of associates, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring the team's adherence to work-plan specifications and deadlines.
Client Consultation:
Serve as a consultant for clients seeking third-party assessments of their IT environment.
Provide expert guidance and recommendations to improve IT processes, controls, and governance practices.
Stakeholder Communication:
Effectively communicate audit findings, recommendations, and action plans to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
Build strong relationships and manage client expectations on a day-to-day basis.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Continuously enhance your knowledge of IT audit methodologies, emerging technologies, and security practices.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, or a related field.
CISA certification preferred, or a strong desire to obtain certification.
Minimum of 5 years of combined IT technical and audit experience, including experience in public accounting or a publicly traded organization's IT department.
In-depth knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley legislation, COBIT, and COSO frameworks.
Proficient in conducting audits, documenting process flows, and assessing the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls.
Familiarity with ERP systems, general computer and application controls, and IT security principles (network security, IT infrastructure, data security administration, database security).
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet work-plan specifications and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in the use of applicable technology.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide guidance to junior team members.
Willingness to travel based on client and business needs.
